Citizen Tsuyosa 60 Automatic 37 mm — compact integrated sports value for ~6.5″

Citizen has applied its Tsuyosa 60 recipe — Calibre 8310, textured guilloché-style dial, and a five-link jubilee bracelet — to a compact 37 mm integrated sports case. Three permanent references share the geometry: NK0030-51E (steel, black), NK0030-51X (steel, light green / mint), and NK0032-56A (gold-plated steel, silver dial).

This is not the older Tsuyosa 37 NJ020 (Calibre 8210, official L2L 41.9, City Chain orientation ~S$539). The 60 generation steps up reserve, bracelet, and dial texture — and the published Singapore list sits higher, in a soft ~S$730–~S$774 Band 1 pocket. For ~6.5" wrists, lead the short span, not the 37 mm diameter alone.

Official numbers (Citizen PDP) vs press span

Citizen’s US, EU, HK, PH, and Singapore product pages agree on a 37 mm steel (or gold-plated steel) case, sapphire crystal, exhibition caseback, date at 3, and 50 m / 5 bar water resistance. The automatic movement is Calibre 8310 — 21 jewels, 21,600 vph, hacking seconds, ~60-hour reserve, stated accuracy −20/+40 seconds per day on the EU PDP. Weight is listed at 122 g on HK / PH / EU pages.

Thickness: Citizen EU lists hauteur 11,5 mm; Citizen HK and PH also print 11.5 mm. That is the official figure we prefer. citizen.com.sg lists 11.7 mm on the same 37 mm SKUs (and on several 40 mm Tsuyosa 60 pages) — treat 11.7 as a SG-site listing, not a second official height, and verify at the counter.

Lug-to-lug is not on the Citizen PDPs we checked. Monochrome’s introducing piece measures the compact case at approximately 43 mm tip-to-tip. That is press geometry, labelled as such — useful orientation for ~6.5", not a brand-published span.

Three 37 mm references — same geometry

Citizen and Monochrome list the same trio. Steel pair at the lower published list; gold-plated at the upper:

• NK0030-51E — silver-tone steel, black sunray guilloché dial, steel five-link bracelet.
• NK0030-51X — silver-tone steel, light green / mint guilloché dial, steel five-link bracelet.
• NK0032-56A — gold-plated steel case and bracelet, silver-tone dial, gold-tone hands and markers.

Do not mix these with 40 mm Tsuyosa 60 SKUs (NK0020 / NK0022 / NK0023 / NK0024 family) or with the older 37 mm NJ020 line. Same “Tsuyosa 37” nickname, different calibre, bracelet, and price class.

Fit on ~6.5″ — span first, then the integrated flare

On a ~6.5" (≈165 mm) wrist, integrated sports watches fail when rigid first links stretch the effective tip-to-tip past the flat of the arm. The useful number here is the press ≈43 mm lug-to-lug sitting on a true 37 mm barrel-shaped case — short enough to be a strong ~6.5" candidate, provided the jubilee end-links drape rather than cantilever. That is a geometry argument, not an on-wrist claim; try on at City Chain before you treat it as settled.

Against the older Tsuyosa 37 NJ020, the 60’s press span is a touch longer than the NJ020’s official 41.9 mm L2L. Both stay in the short-integrated band; the 60 trades a little span honesty (press vs official) for the 8310 weekend reserve and the five-link bracelet. Prefer published L2L on the NJ020 if you want the tighter documented number.

Height is honest everyday sport, not dress-thin. Official 11.5 mm sits above the Tudor Royal 36 at 9.7 mm and well under the Speedy 38 trap at 14.75 mm. Cuff-check if you button dress shirts daily. Soft SGD / Singapore buying path

Official Singapore list on citizen.com.sg (Calibre 8310 shop, Sep 2026) prints S$730.30 for NK0030-51E and NK0030-51X, and S$773.90 for NK0032-56A. Soft orientation: ~S$730 / ~S$774, or ~S$730–~S$774 across the trio. Those hard figures are published list — verify at checkout; they are not a WristFit quote.

City Chain, an authorised Citizen retailer, lists the steel 37 mm pair at S$730 tax included (NK0030-51E and NK0030-51X product pages). That matches the ~S$730 end of the official brand list. We did not treat a City Chain gold-tone ticket as confirmed in this pass — use the citizen.com.sg S$773.90 list (soft ~S$774) for NK0032-56A and confirm live.

Monochrome and Citizen EU list €379 (black / green) and €429 (gold-plated). That is EU list for FX orientation only — do not silently convert it into a Singapore price when published SGD already exists.
