Fit and geometry
- Lug-to-lug (L2L)
- Straight-line distance from one lug tip to the opposite. If L2L is wider than your wrist is flat, the watch overhangs — even when diameter looks modest. See the lug-to-lug guide.
- Case diameter (Ø)
- Width of the round dial area. Useful, but incomplete without L2L and thickness.
- Thickness / case height
- How tall the case sits. The fit checker bumps overhang risk one level at ≥13 mm (the “cuff trap” on shirt sleeves).
- Integrated bracelet
- Bracelet shaped to the case (PRX-class). Can wear longer than printed case length because the first link is fixed — optional “effective span” in the fit checker.
- Overhang risk (Low / Moderate / High)
- Heuristic from the fit checker and watch index: compares published L2L to a usable span derived from your wrist circumference. Missing L2L stays Incomplete — we do not guess from diameter.
- Usable span
- Approximate flat width available for a watch: (wrist circumference ÷ π) × 0.92. At 165 mm wrist, that is roughly 48 mm.
Prices (Singapore)
- Soft SGD band
- Planning label (e.g. under S$1k, S$3–10k) for sorting the catalog — not a quote, not stock status. See by budget.
- AD (authorised dealer)
- Official boutique or retailer with a brand-backed warranty path. Local invoices often include 9% GST in the out-the-door price.
- Grey market
- Parallel resellers — sometimes legitimate, but warranty and GST handling vary. Verify before you pay. See buying in Singapore.
