Updates
This log is the maintenance record for WristFit SG: what changed on the public site, and when. Specs, GST treatment, and stock move. Email a factual fix to wristfitsg@gmail.com. How pages are sourced is on About & method.
3 October 2026
- Discovery desk (draft PR #43) — homepage four jobs for ~6–7″ wrists on top of the newcomer front door; new 6 / 6.5 / 7″ wrist hub; Bremont TN35 release note gets a short overview (not a review) from on-page facts only.
30 September 2026
- Consolidated release branch — open draft PRs #23, #25, #33–#37, and #40 merged into one branch (
cursor/consolidated-open-prs-b5d5): site UX, news posts, verdict boxes, cols-spec fixes, and past-event framing.
29 September 2026
- Onboarding & URLs — homepage four-step “Start here” path; new glossary; friendly URL redirects (
_redirectsfor/fit-checker/,/about/, etc.); custom404.html; short HTML cache hints in_headers; JSON-LD on home, About, and glossary FAQ. - Hub copy — guides hub + by-budget trim repeated “orientation only” lines in favour of glossary links;
scripts/bump_asset_query.pyfor sitewide?v=bumps. - Tools — fit checker loads a 165 mm + BB54 example when opened without query params; paper tape page links straight into the checker with your mm reading.
- About — “Who runs this” byline; footer terms strip on all pages (via
main.js). - Discovery-first positioning — homepage and guides hub lead with “discover at ~6.5″”; new New to watches in Singapore on-ramp (plain English, index @ 165 mm, compare presets, try-on script).
- Watch index — defaults wrist to 165 mm so the Fit column is live for typical readers; nav adds “New to watches” under Picks by size.

29 September 2026 (post-merge fixes)
- Post-merge fixes — removed invalid
</details>tags on news “Related” sections (22 articles); compare callouts now deep-link with?a=/?b=/wrist=query params. - Catalog — Rolex OP36 third-party lug-to-lug 43.1 mm (Fratello; labelled unofficial) so AT38 vs OP36 compare works at 165 mm.
- Guide
lastmod/ meta lines bumped on pages touched by third-party fit notes; cache bust20260929a.
28 September 2026
- Compare two watches — two catalog rows, one wrist, the same Low / Moderate / High heuristic as the fit checker, drawn to one scale. Missing lug-to-lug stays Incomplete.
- SG GST estimator — 9% GST, S$500 / S$100 traveller relief, S$400 parcel threshold, no customs duty on watches. You enter SGD. Orientation only.
- Buying in Singapore — Japan tax-free timing versus Singapore GST on the way home, and pre-owned buyer notes (Lemon Law, Gross Margin Scheme). Rolex certified pre-owned is not listed; we could not verify a Singapore programme from the sources we use.
- Third-party fit notes — attributed Hodinkee / Fratello / Monochrome wear geometry (labelled unofficial where needed) woven into BB54, BB54 vs BB58, PRX vs Black Bay, AT38 vs OP36, second watch after BB54, and Under S$10k, plus September news on compact sizing, Speedy 38 height, and micro L2L — each with “On WristFit SG” links to the compare tool and fit checker.
23–27 September 2026
- Tudor for small wrists and BB54 vs BB58 — brand hub plus a geometry comparison that keeps third-party and press-kit lug-to-lug labelled.
- Authorised dealers — which Singapore retailers carry which brands, checked against brand store finders.
- Fit checker and watch index — integrated cases keep published tip-to-tip in the lug-to-lug field. Effective span is opt-in. Unpublished tip-to-tip stays Incomplete.
19 September 2026
- Paper tape — print-at-100% millimetre strip with a 50 mm / 2 in calibration box, plus illustrative Ø36 and Ø39 silhouettes.
- About and privacy — contact address, method, and what the in-browser tools store (they do not send wrist numbers to our server).
Older fit notes stay on News, each with its own date. Guides carry a last-updated line on the page.
