Tudor Black Bay 54 vs Black Bay 58 for ~6.5" wrists (SG)
At ~6.5", the Tudor shortlist often narrows to two siblings: the Black Bay 54 (37 mm) and the Black Bay 58 (39 mm, 2026 generation with METAS movement). Same brand, same 200 m diver brief, similar soft SGD at Singapore ADs — but geometry and dial read differ enough that forum consensus is useless without a tray try-on.
Tudor publishes lug-to-lug for the 58 in the 2026 press kit (47.8 mm). The 54 PDP has diameter and thickness only; we carry ~46 mm lug-to-lug as third-party on this site — not an official Tudor field. Soft SGD below is orientation from The Hour Glass product pages; verify live tickets at checkout or the counter.

Fit at ~6.5" — lug-to-lug first
Flat wrist span ≈48.3 mm is the band we use on 6.5" size guide. Diameter is secondary — a 39 mm case can still clear if lug-to-lug stays inside span. Catalog filter: watch index.

Bracelet vs strap
- BB54 / BB58: steel = more mass; rubber = lighter and wraps closer. T-fit helps ~6.5" seasonal sizing in humidity. Strap choice does not change lug-to-lug.
- BB58 only: 5-link vs 3-link is aesthetics and wrist feel — not a lug-length change. Rubber is the lightest ticket band on THG for both lines.
Practical tip
Ask for tip-to-tip of the exact tray reference — or measure it. Do not treat third-party BB54 L2L as Tudor-published; do not assume the 58’s press-kit figure appears on the retail PDP.
Soft SGD and Singapore paths

Who should buy which
- Buy BB54 if: you want the shortest lug-to-lug in the pair (third-party ~46 mm); 37 mm presence is enough; humid weekend / swim use matters; rubber at ~S$5,860 soft is the value band vs 58 steel.
- Buy BB58 if: you prefer 39 mm dial/bezel presence and the 2026 METAS movement story; official 47.8 mm still fits your measured span; the extra soft SGD vs rubber 54 is acceptable.
