Visual Fit Simulator — Dual-View Wrist & Lug Overhang
Case diameter alone hides lug overhang and cuff height. This interactive simulator renders your wrist's usable flat span and transverse curvature against published case specs or custom measurements to scale. Reference wrist defaults to a 6.5-inch (~165 mm) wrist. Numbers stay in your browser; method: About & method.
Print 1:1 paper tape to measure wrist circumference
Measure across the flat top plane of your wrist with digital calipers or a rigid ruler.
Anatomical usable span: (165.0 mm ÷ π) × 0.92 = 48.3 mm
How the simulation calculates fit
Usable flat wrist span is estimated as (wrist circumference ÷ π) × 0.92, mapping a 165 mm (6.5 in) wrist to 48.3 mm. When lug-to-lug exceeds this flat boundary, the tips extend past the anatomical plane, creating visual overhang and case wobble. Use the caliper override if you have measured your exact flat wrist width.
Risk classification thresholds: Scored length ≤ 90% of usable flat span is Low Overhang Risk; 90%–100% is Moderate Overhang Risk; > 100% is High Overhang Risk. Thickness ≥ 13.0 mm bumps the risk rating one tier to account for shirt cuff interference.
Singapore import GST and tax context
All local Singapore retail prices at authorised dealers include 9% GST. For watches imported via courier or postal freight, shipments with total CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) value exceeding S$400 are assessed 9% GST at customs clearance. Travelers arriving in Singapore for 48 hours or more receive S$500 GST relief allowance (S$100 if away under 48 hours; S$0 for work pass, student pass, or dependent pass holders). Watches imported into Singapore pay import GST only (watches are not dutiable goods in Singapore).
For local servicing and out-of-warranty work, a GST-registered business charges 9% GST on a repair it bills in Singapore (see the Singapore service centres directory). Calculate exact import figures on the Singapore GST estimator.
