Diameter lies — why lug-to-lug (and thickness) still decide a 6.5 in wrist in Singapore
Lug-to-lug means the tip-to-tip length of the case. A printed diameter can look compact while that tip-to-tip length, or the thickness, tells a different fit story on a 6.5 in wrist.
The flat top of a 6.5 in wrist (165.1 mm) is 48.349 mm. A ratio of lug-to-lug to that span at or under 0.90 is Low risk, through 1.00 is Moderate risk, and above 1.00 is High risk. A published thickness of 13 mm or more moves the result up one level.
Thin, and still long
A short stack does not shorten the lugs. Each fit label uses only a length the source prints as lug-to-lug.
Maen Manhattan 37 Ultra-Thin
Maen lists “LUG TO LUG HEIGHT 47.4 mm” and 7.1 mm thick. Fit: Moderate risk on a 6.5 in wrist. 47.4 ÷ 48.349 = 0.980. The 7.1 mm thickness is under 13 mm, so it does not move the result. No published S$ price.
Formex Aria Manufacture Chronometer
Formex lists 40 mm wide, 45.45 mm lug-to-lug, Height 6.9 mm, and 30 m water resistance. Fit: Moderate risk on a 6.5 in wrist. 45.45 ÷ 48.349 = 0.940. The 6.9 mm Height is under 13 mm, so it does not move the result. No published S$ price.
Christopher Ward Twelve 660
Fratello lists 38 mm wide, 43.3 mm (length) (third-party), and 6.6 mm thick. Fit: Incomplete (lug-to-lug unpublished). Fratello does not label that length as lug-to-lug. No published S$ price.

Tall cases at a friendly diameter
Omega lists the Speedmaster 38 at 38 mm wide, 44.96 mm lug-to-lug, and 14.75 mm thick. Fit: High risk on a 6.5 in wrist. 44.96 ÷ 48.349 = 0.930, which is Moderate. The 14.75 mm thickness moves it to High. No published S$ price. The full table is on the Speedmaster 38 note.
Timex lists TW6A07200 at 38 mm wide, 46.11 mm lug-to-lug, and 13.8 mm high, at US$1,450. TW6A07300 lists the same case and US$1,350. Fit: High risk on a 6.5 in wrist. 46.11 ÷ 48.349 = 0.954, which is Moderate, and 13.8 mm moves that result up one level. About S$1,859 and S$1,731 (estimates), converted at US$1 = S$1.2824 (ExchangeRate-API open rates, 16 October 2026). The S$1,859 and S$1,731 estimates don’t include 9% GST on imports.
