Grand Seiko’s SBGW325 is an Elegance Collection limited edition: worldwide 600 pieces, October 2026 on-sale, hand-wound 9S64. English product pages do not use a formal “Arabic Blue” subtitle — the published identity is the reference, the collection, and the indigo / Arabic-numeral story. It tributes the SBGW003 (2001, first manually wound 9S, Calibre 9S54) with the same blocky Arabic indices on a deep navy dial inspired by Japan’s indigo-dyeing tradition.

The fit numbers that matter for ~6.5" are official: Ø37.3 mm, lug-to-lug 44.3 mm, thickness 11.7 mm. Span is a strong compact-dress argument. Height is not — flag 11.7 mm on a splash-only three-hander before you treat this as a slim dress watch. Published sg-en list S$7,500.00 — verify at checkout, not a WristFit quote. Official numbers (Grand Seiko PDP)

Singapore, US, and UK product pages agree on a stainless-steel Elegance case at 37.3 mm diameter, 44.3 mm lug-to-lug, and 11.7 mm thickness. Crystal is box-shaped sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The caseback is see-through, six screws, with LIMITED EDITION and a serial number engraved. Band width is 19 mm; the hon-ai indigo crocodile lists a 195 mm perimeter. An additional cow / calf leather strap is included.

Calibre 9S64 is manual-winding: about 72 hours (three days) reserve, 24 jewels, mean daily rate +5 to −3 seconds per day under Grand Seiko’s specified pre-casing test, and normal-usage accuracy +10 to −1 seconds per day. Official weight is 61 g. Water resistance is printed Splash Resistant — not a 100 m sport rating. Magnetic resistance is 4,800 A/m.

Indigo Arabic Elegance — one LE, two straps

The dial is deep navy with raised Arabic numerals — Grand Seiko’s own copy ties the colour to traditional indigo dyeing, not a marketing nickname we will invent. The matching crocodile is hand-dyed with hon-ai (natural indigo) technique. A spare interchangeable calf / cow-leather strap is in the box; official photography shows that spare as a light, grained leather, not a second croc. Do not treat the spare as a published colourway SKU.

Japan’s boutique-online product page dates the launch to 9 October 2026, prints ¥803,000 tax-in, and states worldwide 600 with 450 for the domestic JP channel. JP Boutique Online reservations opened 18 September 2026. That is Japan-channel timing — it is not a Singapore waitlist, and we do not invent an SG reservation window or a local allocation number.

Fit on ~6.5″ — short official span, thick for dress

On a ~6.5" (≈165 mm) wrist, official 44.3 mm tip-to-tip on a 37.3 mm round Elegance case is a strong geometry: short enough that lug tips should sit inside the flat of the arm if the lugs actually downturn. That is a published-span argument, not an on-wrist claim — try the piece at the Grand Seiko Boutique before you treat drape as settled.

Flag the 11.7 mm stack. This is a splash-only dress three-hander, not a 9–10 mm Calatrava-class profile. It sits with the compact GS SBGW301’s published 11.7 mm, above the Union Seris Small Second 36 at 9.9 mm and the DUG Purist 37 at 10.35 mm, and under the Speedy 38 trap at 14.75 mm. Leather is the only published carry. The 19 mm hon-ai croc is the first read; the spare calf is humidity-practical in Singapore if you actually swap it, not a second official colourway. 61 g is a light steel-and-leather stack on paper — useful, still not a substitute for a tray try-on.

Soft SGD / Singapore buying path

Published Singapore list on grand-seiko.com/sg-en is list S$7,500.00. Soft orientation: ~S$7,500 — verify at checkout. That is brand-published SGD, not an FX conversion and not a WristFit quote. US / UK / JP pages print USD 5,800, GBP 5,000, and ¥803,000 tax-in; Fratello also cites €5,700. Do not silently convert those into a second Singapore price when sg-en already prints list S$7,500.00.

That lands soft Band 3 (S$3–10k planning band) — same band as compact GS SBGW301 at a published ~S$6,500 class, a step above that regular Elegance for the LE / indigo / Arabic package.
