Kurono Tokyo is dropping a Calendrier Small Batch Release (SBR) in Saxe Blue — Hajime Asaoka’s leftover-from-the-salmon-pink colour, now with electroformed applied Arabic indices on a 70% gloss dial. Official geometry is a polished 38 mm 316L case, 10 mm thick, 11.5 mm including the box sapphire. Lug-to-lug is unpublished on the English specs block and on the JP press sheet we checked — we do not invent tip-to-tip from diameter.

The clock that matters for Singapore is the online window: Thursday 24 September 2026, 23:00 JST / 22:00 SGT, one watch per customer, one order window, USD checkout on kuronotokyo.com. Salon preview is 16–24 September in Tokyo (Aoyama) and Shanghai — not a Singapore tray. Soft money is FX-only: official USD 2,380 excl VAT/duties orients around ~S$3.0–~S$3.2k. There is no published Singapore RRP.

Official numbers (Kurono SBR page)

The English specifications accordion and WatchMediaOnline’s JP press (from Kurono Bunkyō Tokyo) agree on a 38 mm stainless-steel case, thickness 10 mm / 11.5 mm including crystal, 5 ATM water resistance, sapphire box crystal, calf leather, and lug width 20 mm (16 mm at the buckle). The automatic is Miyota 9122: 26 jewels, 28,800 vph, about 40-hour reserve, hours/minutes/seconds plus a triple calendar (day, date, month). English specs print 316L high-polished; JP press also prints 鍛造 (forged) 316L. Made in Japan.

WatchMediaOnline lists reference CL003B. That string is not on the English specs block — treat it as press/JP identity, not an EN PDP SKU we will invent a checkout code from. Lug-to-lug is not printed on either sheet. Diameter is not a substitute.

Saxe Blue SBR — one dial, one window

Asaoka’s published note: the salmon-pink anniversary calendar almost had this blue instead; he kept thinking about it, then used unallocated movements and components for a Small Batch Release. The colour landed close to 2025’s Shiraai, but Shiraai was ~20% gloss (near-matte) and this Saxe Blue is ~70% gloss to play against chrome applied indices. Those indices are electroformed, not stamped — that is brand copy, not our finishing claim.

Vertical guilloché-style lines sit in the centre; day and month sub-dials and the chapter ring are smoother. Date is a stepped window at 6. Brand copy warns: do not change the month while the date window shows the 31st. Monochrome notes a flat crown without the anniversary cabochon — press distinction, useful, not an EN spec line.

Fit on ~6.5″ — strong diameter, missing span, flag the crystal

On a ~6.5" (≈165 mm) wrist, 38 mm is a strong dress/calendar diameter — the same compact-round neighbourhood as an Aqua Terra 38’s barrel, without that watch’s published 45.0 mm span to lean on. We cannot call this a short-L2L hero because Kurono has not published tip-to-tip. Other 38 mm dress-sport cases publish their own spans; those numbers are not this case. If you cannot get L2L in writing, treat fit as incomplete and do not card on diameter romance.

Flag height. Official 10 mm without crystal looks daily-thin; 11.5 mm including the box sapphire is the number that hits a shirt cuff. That sits with the Grand Seiko SBGW325 at 11.7 mm (which does publish L2L 44.3) and above the DUG Purist 37 at 10.35 mm and the Union Seris Small Second 36 at 9.9 mm. Leather 20→16 mm is the only published carry. There is no Singapore salon to confirm lug flare, crystal bite, or strap drape. Tokyo Aoyama and Shanghai previews run 16–24 September 2026 — useful if you are already in those cities; they are not an SG try-on.

Soft SGD / Singapore buying path

Authoritative global list is USD 2,380 excluding VAT and duties on kuronotokyo.com. Payments are charged in USD only. Japan domestic tax-in is ¥376,750 (¥342,500 ex-tax) — JP salon lottery for Japan residents, not a Singapore ticket. Shanghai salon prints RMB 18,800 tax-and-duty-in for China residents only; the same page says a website order is still USD 2,380 excl. Do not convert JPY or CNY into a second Singapore price.

Soft FX only from USD 2,380: about ~S$3.0–~S$3.2k as an orientation band, not a published SG RRP, not a landed total, not a WristFit quote. Verify the live USD checkout, card FX, and whatever DHL/customs collect. That sits on the Band 2 / Band 3 edge (S$1–3k vs S$3–10k planning bands). We do not invent a GST or duty percentage.

Singapore path: DTC from kuronotokyo.com, DDU-style — brand terms say VAT/GST/excise are not collected at order; DHL or the local courier may require you to pay them before release. Courier named on the SBR page is DHL International Economy from origin. Confirm that Singapore is a live ship-to country at checkout; we do not invent coverage.
