Microbrands on a small wrist: a lug-to-lug checklist
Many independent brands sell direct, with the product page as the spec sheet. Lug-to-lug is the tip-to-tip length of the case. A studio photo can make a long case look short, so each fit label uses only a length that brand page prints as lug-to-lug.
On a 6.5 in wrist the usable span is 48.349 mm. RZE Resolute 36, Erebus Ascent 36, and Serica 7505 land at Low risk. Baltic Aquascaphe MK2 37 lands at Moderate risk.
What a product page needs for a fit label
- A lug-to-lug figure, in millimetres, labelled as lug-to-lug.
- Thickness, including the crystal when the brand prints that height.
- Lug shape only as the page describes it. A missing lug-to-lug stays Fit: Incomplete (lug-to-lug unpublished).

RZE Resolute 36
RZE lists 36 mm wide, 42.3 mm lug-to-lug, and 9.5 mm thick. Fit: Low risk on a 6.5 in wrist. 42.3 ÷ 48.349 = 0.875, which is at or under 0.90. The 9.5 mm thickness is under 13 mm, so it does not move the result. Sold direct by the brand. RZE’s Resolute 36 page does not publish an S$ price.
Erebus Ascent 36
Erebus lists 36 mm wide, 42 mm lug-to-lug, and 11 mm thick. Fit: Low risk on a 6.5 in wrist. 42 ÷ 48.349 = 0.869. The 11 mm thickness is under 13 mm, so it does not move the result. Sold direct by the brand. Erebus’s Ascent 36 page does not publish an S$ price.
Serica 7505
Serica lists 35 mm wide, 41.5 mm lug-to-lug, and 9.6 mm thick. Fit: Low risk on a 6.5 in wrist. 41.5 ÷ 48.349 = 0.858. The 9.6 mm thickness is under 13 mm, so it does not move the result. Monochrome repeats that 41.5 mm lug-to-lug (third-party). Sold direct by the brand. Serica’s 7505 page does not publish an S$ price.
Baltic Aquascaphe MK2 37
Baltic lists 37 mm wide, 45 mm lug-to-lug, and 12.9 mm thick. Fit: Moderate risk on a 6.5 in wrist. 45 ÷ 48.349 = 0.931. The 12.9 mm thickness is under 13 mm, so it does not move the result.
