Seiko’s September 2026 mechanical Speedtimer pair — HBC003J1 (bracelet) and HBC004J1 (strap) — ships with published Ø39.5 × L2L 44.5 × 12.0 mm. For ~6.5" Singapore wrists that is the useful number set: short tip-to-tip and a clearly thinner stack than the Speedy 38 height trap.

Official numbers (Seiko regional PDPs)
Same case geometry on both: diameter 39.5 mm, length 44.5 mm, thickness 12.0 mm, lug width 20 mm. Calibre 6R55 automatic with hand-wind and hacking (~72 h). Water resistance 20 bar / 200 m; curved sapphire with inner AR; stainless case with super-hard coating.

Fit on ~6.5" — and what to demote
Ø39.5 sits near Alpinist diameter but with a friendlier published length than many field-sport pieces. The dual-crown Prospex case still needs a try-on under a cuff — packshots do not show overhang.
Deprioritize the larger 42 mm HBD Speedtimer chronographs as small-wrist heroes. Keep solar SSC813 as thinner Band 1 chrono literacy if you only want a practice stack under S$1k.
Soft SGD / SG path
Sky Watches (ships from SG) has listed HBC003J1 around S$1,420 — treat as soft street / AD-adjacent orientation, not corporate RRP. Confirm AD status and warranty before you treat it as a ticket.
Seiko Australia lists HBC003 at AUD 1,500 — FX soft-points roughly ~S$1.3–1.4k, not Singapore retail. Soft class pointer: Band 2 ~S$1.3–1.5k. Boutique / City Chain stock was not confirmed on the home list at research time — call after the September release. No invented waitlists.

Reality check
“Speedtimer” on the dial is not a free pass on size. Use the published 44.5 / 12.0 pair, then try HBC003 or HBC004 at Seiko Boutique, City Chain, or a multi-brand Prospex tray after release. Soft ~S$1.3–1.5k is class orientation — not a quote.
