Union Glashütte updated its Seris Small Second line (German: Seris Kleine Sekunde) for 2026 with a fresh trio under the D018.228 generation. For small-wrist enthusiasts measuring around ~6.5", this release delivers rare short-span geometry in genuine German dress watchmaking: Ø36 mm diameter, a verified 42.67 mm lug-to-lug, and a slender 9.9 mm case height.

Crucially, lead this new D018.228 generation only — never confuse it with the legacy D013.228 series or earlier UNG-28.01 calibres. This 2026 platform steps up to the modern UNG-28.S1 automatic movement with a silicon balance spring, stop-seconds hacking, and ~60 hours of power reserve, packing genuine Glashütte finishing into a sub-10 mm chassis.
