Compare two watches on your wrist

Same fit score as the checker, drawn to scale. Last updated: 29 September 2026.

Pick two watches from the catalog and enter a wrist circumference. The drawing uses one scale: usable span, case width, and the lug-to-lug length the checker scores. A missing lug-to-lug stays Incomplete, and the lug bar is left off.

Run the comparison

Defaults are Black Bay 54 and Black Bay 58 at 165.1 mm. Change either watch, or the wrist. Numbers stay in this browser.

How to read the drawing

  1. The rectangle is the usable flat span of the wrist, not the circumference. At 165.1 mm that span is 48.349 mm.
  2. The circle is published case diameter, on the same millimetre scale.
  3. The lug bar is the length the score uses: published tip-to-tip, or the catalog’s integrated-bracelet length when that box is on and tip-to-tip is unpublished. Turn the box off when both watches publish lug-to-lug and you only want tip-to-tip.
  4. Past the rectangle means the scored length is wider than the span. A case 13 mm thick or more still moves the result up one level, which a top view cannot show.

Worked pair at the default 165.1 mm wrist, usable span 48.349 mm. Hodinkee describes the Black Bay 54 as “37 x 11.24 x 46mm” (third-party), so the lug-to-lug used here is 46 mm. Tudor’s M79000N-0001 page lists the case 37 mm wide and 11.2 mm thick. 46 ÷ 48.349 = 0.951, so Fit: Moderate risk on a 6.5 in wrist. The 11.2 mm thickness is under 13 mm, so it does not move the result. Tudor’s 2026 press kit lists 47.8 mm lug-to-lug for the Black Bay 58. Tudor’s M7939A1A0NU-0001 page lists the case 39 mm wide and 11.7 mm thick. 47.8 ÷ 48.349 = 0.989, so Fit: Moderate risk on a 6.5 in wrist. The 11.7 mm thickness is under 13 mm, so it does not move the result. Explorer 36 and Datejust 36 are Fit: Incomplete (lug-to-lug unpublished).

How to use the score

Missing lug-to-lug stays Incomplete. Case width does not draw the lug bar. A price band (S$) on the card is a planning label, not a price. Try it on, or compare a watch you own with the Fit checker.

Score a one-off spec that is not in the catalog on the fit checker, or inspect scaled overhang and side profile in the visual fit simulator. Filter the whole list on the watch index. Measure first with the sizing guide or the paper tape.
