Fit checker — wrist, lug-to-lug, thickness

Heuristic overhang risk for a measured wrist. Last updated: September 2026.

This is the site’s unique calculator — not a reprint of a buying guide. Case diameter alone is incomplete. Enter your wrist, then a watch’s lug-to-lug (tip-to-tip, and thickness if you have it). We estimate a usable span from circumference and score Low / Moderate / High overhang risk. Missing lug-to-lug stays Incomplete — see the glossary. Numbers you type stay in this browser; method: About.

How the score is built

Usable span ≈ (wrist circumference ÷ π) × 0.92 — so ~165 mm (~6.5 in) maps to a ~48 mm ceiling, matching our lug-to-lug guide. Lug-to-lug at or below 90% of span is Low; up to 100% is Moderate; past that is High. Thickness ≥ 13 mm bumps one level (the Speedy-class cuff trap). Third-party lug-to-lug is labelled unofficial.

Browse the same rows as a filterable table: watch index. Put two catalog watches on one wrist with the compare tool, or inspect scaled overhang in the visual fit simulator. Measure first with the sizing guide.
